ObjectRocket MongoDB on Heroku

Kyle Hunter

We’re excited to announce that the ObjectRocket for MongoDB Beta is now available in the Heroku Elements Marketplace.

At ObjectRocket, our mission is to make it easier for developers to focus on building great apps instead of worrying about the complexities of database management. That’s why we provide the fastest MongoDB with optimized hardware with lightning-fast PCIe flash storage and the best support for MongoDB with Rackspace’s award-winning Fanatical Support™. A key part of that mission though is being everywhere developers are — and being closer to their app.

Heroku provides a powerful, fast way to get applications deployed into the wild, and our database-as-a-service makes managing and scaling databases a cinch. It’s a match made in heaven!

During this initial Beta period, we are temporarily providing 5GB Replica Sets FREE so you can help us work out the kinks and provide feedback we can iterate on. Even though it’s only during this limited time Beta period, you can’t beat free! Now is the perfect time to test out that latest app idea.

We’re currently providing MongoDB instances in Heroku’s US-East offering, however we look forward to supporting our friends in London in the near future.

To get started, check out our Heroku Elements add-on page, which explains all about our ObjectRocket for MongoDB offering, and provides documentation on how to get things moving.

And if you are as excited as we are, give us a tweet and let your colleagues know that ObjectRocket for MongoDB is now available at a Heroku marketplace near you!
